We all know by now how the food we eat is contaminated with pesticides. So when it comes to produce, we either risk it all to buy it regular or we go full throttle and we get everything organic. But what if there were ones we needed organic, and one’s that we didn’t have to even worry about? The Environmental Working Group had released an updated list of the Dirty Dozen and the Clean Fifteen.
For those of who don’t know what those two are, let me explain it.
Dirty Dozen: These are the 12 most contaminated produce products out there. They are filled with the most pesticides and are highly genetically modified. These are highly recommended to get organic.
Clean Fifteen: These are the 15 least contaminated produce products. They have very little pesticides used on them and are not as modified as the others. These you do not have to worry about buying organic as much as the Dirty Dozen.
